Online Safety

The internet offers many positive opportunities for learning and creativity, but it is important that children understand how to stay safe. At our school, children’s safety and wellbeing are our highest priorities, both offline and online. We are committed to helping pupils learn how to use the internet safely, responsibly and respectfully.

The National Online Safety and the NSPCC websites have a wealth of information to support keeping children safe when online. to support keeping children safe when online and offer access to lots of free information, training and webinars.


Internet Safety Day

Every February, we take part in Safer Internet Day, a national and international event that promotes the safe, responsible and positive use of technology.

Safer Internet Day is an important opportunity for us to reinforce key online safety messages and to remind our whole school community of the shared role we play in keeping children safe online.
